Anyone making stainless cylinder frames/cylinder for the max length stuff? Basically a stainless SRM. I know Reeder makes 'em but not wanting to buy a whole revolver.

The old DWs and Sevilles are out there. Might find a fairly new DW. To just get the look you could hard chrome a Ruger Maximum..

I know Ruger made ether 3 or 6 stainless max frames years ago and I think 3 got out into circulation with the others in Rugers archives or were destroyed. Dont mess with a original if you find one of those rare beasts out there...

Know about the factory ones and believe you me, I couldn't afford one. I guess in a pinch...Reeder *gulp* sell them stripped as in not as a complete gun? *cringing just thinking about it*

I'm not 100% sure...but I believe he already told a few folks on his forum he couldn't do that due to them being needed for his full conversions. I'd email him directly and ask him.

I've always hard chromed Ruger Maximums for that look. As suggested, you can try to find stainless Sevilles or El Dorados. They're uncommon though and if you break parts you're up a creek. -Lee www.singleactions.com
