Couldn't resist looking and they are only 24.30 wholesale. That is quite a bit of room Nosler is leaving in their MSRP.

There was a time when ballistic tip blems were listed for more than you could by the same bullets that made it through QC at any common shop. People on the internet were snapping them up like free beers. It pays to google it before you draw your wallet.

Yeah midway has showed them discontinued for a while, when they had them they were $50 for 50. I'd buy XTP's over paying a buck a bullet. But if you price Partitions .70c over wholesale I'll buy a few boxes. If Midway is right, they're not making any more.

Bought a load of 'em and 44's from Wideners a couple of years ago for my lever gun and Ruger Carbine. They are still showing them for sale at the same price I paid then ~$20/box. www.wideners.com/componentspecials.cfm

I'd have to agree that even at $25/50 they seem expensive! I'm sure they're really good though. I have no experience with them but lots with Nosler rifle bullets. I agree with subsonic that prices really went up at the pro shop on almost everything. It is true that ballistic tip blems weren't really much of a buy after a while. Early on - before the commodities crunch of 2005-2008 they were though. Better yet were the savings on rifle partitions and the old solid base bullets which I really like. Toward the end of the good times I did manage some good buys on 375 cal 260gr Accubonds. I too am glad to be casting!

Depending upon what you shoot there are still cheap Seconds at Nosler. Just bought some 200 gr 8mm Partition's and 140 gr 7mm AB's for a good price.
