They're not bad at all. I shot a Barrett at my local range a number of years ago, while I was there sighting my 9 1/2-lb .458 Lott. A guy was shooting it, saw me watching and offered to let me shoot. So, I took a few shots and was underwhelmed. A total pussycat. After he let me fire his rifle, I offered to let him shoot my puny .458 Lott. Well, to make a long story short, he squeezed one off from the bench, and yelped after the shot. He didn't want to put a second one down-range.
