Has anyone used one of the load generation programs? You know, the ones that will let you design a wildcat and then tell you where would be a good place to start and stop when working up a load? As some of you know I'm working on a pair of "480 Achilles" guns, one blackhawk and one levergun, problem though, to make it feed from the levergun I had to extend the case (read that as not trim it back as far, had to leave it .200 longer as a matter of fact) and now I have more capacity than I originally did, so I figure I ought ot use it, but I have no idea where to start.

I have never used it but I think the one you are talking about is "Load From a Disk". I believe that program allows you to plug in dimensions, weight, etc. and it gives appropriate powders and charges. www.loadammo.com/

I wasn't thinking about any specific program, just throwing a line out to see if anyone had one and might be persuaded a little to assist with starting loads for 480 Achilled long, as I had to add .200" to the case in order to make it feed through a levergun
