Budweiser is a huge supporter of the shooting sports..........and it don't taste like those sissy beers from Europe or Mexico!
NSSF is pleased to announce the return of Budweiser as the official sponsor of the press room at the 2012 SHOT Show. With more than 2,000 members of the press attending the show, the SHOT Show Press Room is host to the largest gathering of outdoor media in the world. Budweiser's 2012 sponsorship marks the second year of a two-year commitment to be the official sponsor of the show’s press room. With its sponsorship, Budweiser joins Outdoor Channel, GunBroker.com and ArmaLite as major supporters of the SHOT Show

If they'd leave that vile rice extract out, I might consider it. However, there are many better American Pilsner style beers - and that's certainly not even close to my favorite beer style.

My first career was in the brewing industry. Feel free to drink Budweiser. I agree with sponsoring SHOT. That said, if you aren't going to drink beer, then neither am I.

Good for them for sponsoring SHOT. Budweiser is a sorry imitation of real beer. So thin, I'd rather drink water. Makes Coors Light taste like a robust German beer by comparison. 2 years in Germany spoiled me. I suffered for years until micro brews started to become available here in the US.

If all beer tasted like Budweiser I never would have tried another beer. Blech.
Pilsner Urquell, now's that's a beer.

Budweiser isn't even an American company anymore (none of the Big 3 U.S. beer manufacturers are, IIRC) being purchased by InBev a few years back. I'm surprised a European brewer is willing to sponsor such an American event but they probably leave those decisions up to local mgmt. I'll keep drinking my sissy Guinness and German beers tho. Max.

The Pale Ale is a little "pale" but the others are Outstanding! The brewery is in Jackson, WY. I have Mug #20, complete with a Ruger Firearms sticker, hanging above the bar. Carl

Micro brews are the way to go. I get a kick out of seeing Moose Drool from Montana and Alaska Brewing Company beers here in Northern Arizona. It may be a model to follow for more American businesses- small and successful, within certain constraints, non union, low overhead, build the company while staying in the in the black, but wide spread sales base due to ease of communications and multiple ways of shipping with ease world wide.

There is a microbrewery 10 blocks from me that also runs a restaurant. They have some of the best beer I've tasted, bar none, and serve darn good food. Their stout goes particularly well with their Pub Burger and homemade Pub Chips. For the longest time, you could find their beer only in the restaurant. Then, I started seeing mini-kegs in local stores. Now, they have 23 oz bottles in local stores. They are expanding slowly, but surely, and I am spoiled having them as a neighbor.
