Sad news out of Texas. I received this email a short while ago. Dave Higginbotham was killed this morning by an accidental discharge from a rifle he was removing from the back of a vehicle. Keep Katha in your prayers and I'll get more information to you as it becomes available. Tom Berwick The arrangements are not final but the funeral should be Saturday at Mims Baptist Church in Conroe, I will email out the time tomorrow. He will be buried in New Mexico near his ranch. In lue of flowers please ma a donation to American Center for Law and Justice, this organization was dear to Dave. aclj.org/donate Written by Dara Fuler Katha's sister-in-law

Prayers sent for his family. Curious, was Dave a forum member?

Wasnt a member that I know of. I never met him in person but when I became interested in Rolling blocks he was very patient and provided much insight via email. His Lone Star Rifle company put out some very nice Rollers.

Now I know why that name sounded so familiar....... Sincerest condolences to his family. Lone Stars are yet another work of art in the gun community
