I see you use the process on revolvers with great success . Would you recommend it on a blued Marlin 1895? I have a 50Ak that Reeder did for me. It has a laminate stock and forearm so I figured a tough finish would be next. What looks best the satin or brushed?

Mahowsky's Metalife is first rate finish. The stuff Rockwell's at 70 and will easily last a lifetime. I prefer stain/brushed over his high polish. The latter is nice, but shows finger prints and reflects. The brushed satin is very close to Ruger stainless in appearance. -Lee www.singleactions.com
