Look at this big bad boy I ran into last weekend. I know for a fact more and more of you are out in the woods and brush this time of year and want to remind you all to watch where you put your feet. This big boy backed away from me for about 3 feet then decided he could take me! He reared up in the classic S curve and was buzzing like mad till I sent a nastinose 22 hollowpoint out of my 22 Smith 317 down his throat. He is a big one. Just cuz I aint got no neck dont mean my arms wont stretch.... Here I am wishin they were LONGER!!! Of course, the obligatory sixgun pic, in this case a 8 shooter: Here are his Miracas:

WOW!! Glad we don't have them around here. Do you eat them? What are you going to do with the "miracas"

I tried to eat some rattlesnake once at a roundup. Kinda like chicken fried radial tire.....
YUCK!

Just two rounds? I have a personal rule about snakes. It is posonious until I declare it dead. I know enough about snakes to know that I dont know any thing. All snakes are a threat! Including rubber snakes.

Yup, looks like about a 3 1/2 footer ;D
I think rattlesnake tastes better than chicken but if you purchase a chunk at the shows it's 99.5% bone. It's the ole Texas coating that makes it taste so good - Yankee style, not so good.

Yep, head high to the man with no neck - I'd say it was about a 3'er at most!

If it tasted like a tire, it was badly over cooked. Should taste somewhere between frog legs and clams, but more tender than either. Lightly sautee in butter. Bit of garlic powder maybe. The 317 S&W is my wife's personal choice of handgun. steve b

JoeJ, Im going to kick you and RobbB in the nuts even if I have to stand on my tailgate to do it! I suppose your cowboy Cadillac has a 5” lift sitting on 35’s – if so, you get’er done if your leg is long enough. ;D
