Any of you fellows own/owned a Beretta Stampede? If so how do you like it? Do they hold up to usage pretty well?

I've got one. The Deluxe model. If you can stand the fake CCH, it is a fine looking gun. All finishes have held up well but both grip inserts fell off. They are actually just very thin and glued on. No biggie... I will just use some .45 Colt case heads and install them.
After getting all the chamber thoats evened up, forcing cone and crown cleaned up, mine shoots very well. Prior to that it was only so-so with it's favorite loads and terrible with it's not. Other than the cheap grip stickers it has held up very well.

Personally, I'd rather have a NewVaq. They're basically the same gun - both somewhat close heft/feel clones of a post-war Colt SAA, but with a transfer bar ignition. The Ruger is tougher and you've got a ton more options for modifications/parts swapping, such as SuperBlackhawk and Bisley hammers from Ruger, different grip frames, etc. And barrels from the large-frame series can be fitted so a conversion to 41Magnum is feasable for somewhat cheap if you start with a .357 - ream the stock cylinder, fit a 41 barrel. I would question whether a Beretta/Uberti would stand up to the 41mag but the Ruger will.
