There is one really good thing about reality TV and that is they do not employ highly payed radically liberal actors

I've seen 2 episodes of the show and so far I like it. A gun store owner who loads up stacks of hundreds in a satchel and has his own helicopter to get to the guns for sale faster than anyone else? How could you not like that?

It may be a little silly by some standards, but at least it's not another version Real Housewives.

Kind of funny that the wife is always harping on him about making money for the store but she never says anything about him chartering a helicopter for his little buying trips.
What's it cost now days to charter a helicopter for a 50 mile ride?
Last nights show was really stupid. Some guy wanted a hand cannon.
Now get this...they could machine out a SAA cylinder frame from a solid block of steel but they could not make a small hand cannon barrel. They had to cut up a .50 cal Hawken barrel.
So what did that fool end up with? A Hawken pistol with no lock work on it. I guess they don't sell any supplies for black powder shooters since they had to mold balls to shoot the thing.
And, the top stupid thing........After those fools fired the black powder thing in his basement he said someone would now have to spend the night there to watch for fire. Every one knows how that black powder will flare up again 6 or 7 hours later.
Oh yeah...I thought I caught a glimpse of a phillips head screw used on the hand cannon. It must have been on the bottom where those steel brackets held the barrel on that beautiful custom stock he made for that thing.
Is this show going to get any stupider than last night?

It's all pre-packaged drama....that's why I don't waste my time on it. Sadly, much of America seems more interested in commercial 'reality' than the real thing. -Lee www.singleactions.com

Not sure about chartering a helicopter but a 150 mile trip in a Life Flight is $31,000. And all of these shows are alike, which is why I havent watched Top Shot since the first season. I must be the odity in the world because my life has all the honest to God no B.S. "drama" that my ass can handle.

Well....you know darn well that the producers of that show are paying for that helicopter.
I like how the kid said "Are we taking the helicopter"? like it belongs to them. Yeah right....

I've never seen American Guns (and you all have convinced me I don't want to). I have seen Sons of Guns a time or two and quickly became disinterested ("gun plumbers" is appropriate).
But you have to admit the Sons of Guns theme song is catchy - Shelter Me, by Tab Benoit. I had to go out and download that one to my IPod!
