I have a 3 year old and a 6month old boy. Some day i would like to get them sequential revolvers. I'm thinking 45''s do i get Bisleys, plow handle. Lipsey special run regular run. Track down two three screws. or just track down one more 357 three screw because i already have one. What would you do.
I also dint even want to think about how hard it would be to find a serial number with there birth dates. lol
Thanks Rabbit

If you call Ruger & order from them I think you can get matching guns with consecutive serial #s. Frank

This is a slippery slope you're going down. I started with S&W K-22's for all three of my boys, and they're all grown up now with those plus S&W 357's, Colt Governments, U.S. 30 cal Carbines, Sig 229's, 225's and Mosquito's, Remington 870's, Kimber surplus .22 match rifles, Ruger 10/22's and Single Sixes, and more. I also just bought them Colt 6920's for this Xmas (figure those won't be around much longer).. I now have two grandsons, and I've started filling their safes too. t does get expensive, but when I have good fortune, I'd rather give it to them now, so we can enjoy shooting together.

My brother just did this for his high school-aged boys. He went to Ten-Ring on the net and found 3 USFA Rodeos in .44 special and bought them all for his boys.
You could also do this straight from USFA or through Long Hunter Shooting Supply if you wanted their action-job.
I think this is a wonderful gift and gesture for your posterity.
