I'm with Whitworth, what firearm did you use? You should give us short writeup on the hunt. You know, living vicariously through our brothers on here!

Congratulations. I spent three days in NH for moose and saw one small cow. I will be back up tommorrow until the end of the season. So far it doesn't look good for the zone that I am in.

I hunted with www.mainetrophymoose.com/index.html owned by Guy Randlett. Guy advertises that his hunts are usually on foot and to be preapared to walk. With the warm weather we had to cover alot of ground on foot and by truck. Days usually started with a long walk on logging roads and the guides Travis and Justin calling. Late mornings and afternoons were spent still hunting the hard woods. It was fun stalking up to a sleeping moose. Guy is also a lobster fisherman so lunch usually was a couple lobster sandwiches. My bull was the biggest I seen all week and he made me wait to the last day. I shot him at about a hundred feet thru the shoulder with a 30/06 with a 180gr partition. He took two steps before falling over. I am still on cloud nine. Glad to be able to share the time in the woods with my father.
