Nice piece of ordnance there orokie! Let us know how she performs. My boss has been wanting a Remington copy for a long time. Maybe a good report from you will send him over the edge.

Pretty little gun. Love that grips style. SAA's and Old Model Rugers are cool, but they don't fit my hand well at all. The Remington grip frame on the other hand I really like. I'd love to have a "modern" one, Ruger strong with good adjustable sights.

nice gun! got one in 45 colt and one in 44/40 the 45 in particular is amazingly accurate, and the grip frame length makes it really easy for me to shoot well. EMF sells extra cylinders for these in 45 ACP and supposedly they drop in with little fitting. good acquisition!!!

Thanks for the comments so far. I have not gotten a chance to shoot it yet as some family issues came up and I had to postpone my trip to the woods. Soon though! :-)

My Cimmaron .44 Special (made by Uberti) also had too heavy a mainspring. I got a lighter unit from Wolfe. The trigger pull was NICE out of the box. The original mainspring was so heavy I was afraid I would damage the revolver.
It is a shooter but does need to be regulated - poa is several inches off at 25 yards.

Well, I finally got out to shoot the Outlaw today. One thing I am really impressed by this revolver is how tight the cylinder locks up when the hammer is back! I shot Winchester 250gr Lead Flat Nose Cowboy loads and what a sweet shooting firearm!!! Once I got the sights figured out, (where to hold) at 23yds, this gun was very accurate. Better than my Cimmaron Thunderer.
I still plan to send it in for an action job as the main spring is still heavier than I like. Once that is done, this will be the favorite of my single actions.

Pretty six-gun, I'm really glad it shoots well. A good SA is really a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing. Frank
