According to Bowen's web site, all replacement parts are his to keep. Talk directly to the man.

I would keep your eyes open for a used one. They do pop up and sometimes dirt cheap. I bought a package that included a mint stainless 500L Nimrod, full Von Ringler leather set (belt, holster and cartridge slide), hundreds of high quality bullets both cast and jacketed (some fairly high dollar liek ABW's and BM's punch), loaded BB ammo, BB brass and dies for a good amount less that the cost of a conversion. Also, I would not fixate on just a Bowen piece as the other builders mentioned (to include Alan Harton) above are at least his equal with regard to quality. Also, I have found my best handgun deals on non-handgun sites.

5.5 seems to be the "classic" length for the barrel banded custom. There are shorter and longer banded barrel customs. Here is my 4 5/8 Clements Custom. A five shot 45 colt wearing ivory grips. What finish is on that thing?

Looks flat in the pic. Almost like it has been parked.

Oh it is every single bit as flat as it looks... Since I didn't have it built I can't say for sure but I'd say it has been bead blasted..

Nothing extra is overtly visable. I guess quality oversize screws and such. Reeder's guns don't have a rep for the EJRHs coming off.. Reeder's warranty is a good as it gets too..

Anybody have a pic of a s&w 4 position sight on a ruger sa?
