I have a 45 bisley hunter. I've had a few inquiries, but no commitments. The 44 is a shooter, the 45 is NIB. ... Onegoodshot, PM sent re: the Bisley Hunter.

Although the Bilsley 5.5" "accusports" draw a premium dollar, they are probably your least expensive way to go if you want a stainless 5.5" bisley in .44 mag. I went the route of taking a blued 7.5" bisley and sending it to Clements and having him cut it to 5.5" and tweak the gun (any of the other fine pistolsmith will be able to do this as well). I prefer blue guns for whatever reason and I guarantee this little project cost me more than what an "accusport" in .44mag costs. Had I wanted stainless, i could have easily obtained a stainless SBH 5.5" and had it fitted with a bisley grip frame and tweaked as well. the least expensive option is to go with one of the "accusports" in .45Colt and load it with "ruger only" loads.............. but that's not a .44mag now is it? ; )

I have a 44 mag Acusport listed on specialty pistols right now along with a 45 bisley hunter. I've had a few inquiries, but no commitments. The 44 is a shooter, the 45 is NIB. I wasnt too sure what to ask for them. Never sold a gun on GB, so I was trying to determine what was a good asking price on them. You guys have any input. Also have a set of convertable buckeye's listed. The price should be great on them, but havent got the 1st question on them yet. Links?

They are elusive - I was fortunate to have snagged one a few years ago. I've posted pics of it before, but here it is after a few modifications compliments of Mr. Stroh. I find it wears the fluted cyl. that Mr. Stroh fitted for me more than the roll marked one... If I didn't have this one I would be very tempted by the one on Specialty Pistols...

44 AcuSport & 41 657 Beautiful grips. Those grips make my gun look like a Saturday Night Special. The best I can dress mine up with is the "Ruger Ivories".
