Just picked up a Tombstone at an auction. Was wondering what they are worth or go for. S/N is TC-11 Also Says 1 of 200 on the Handle. I thought only 60 were made from what this site says. Also does that mean its #1 or is it #11 from the S/N? Few Pics s311.photobucket.com/albums/kk457/stoney667/Tombstone/

Most of what I know about the gun is from what Lee Martin has written. The maker's plan, evidently, was to complete a total of 200. For some reason, most likely it was economic, only sixty or so were finished. If that is the case, the guns were apparently not sequentially numbered. Your gun is #11. Mine is #108. They aren't often seen for sale anywhere on the market. Since there were only sixty of them around to begin with, that makes sense. Most, I suppose, are sold when the owner dies. That is the probable future of the one that I have. Value depends largely on what someone is willing to pay. They are at best, desirable only to a few folks with a fondness for the whole US Sporting Arms, United Sporting Arms of Arizona, Sporting Arms Inc, El Dorado Arms, etc. genre. Geez, it's confusing. You, having just bought one at an auction, would be in the best position to know what they go for. Correct?

majorKap and Lee what does your handle say? Lee you said the S/N's started at 100 so what does mine being an 11 mean? I can tell you the guy had a lot of guns with 11 in the Serial. Could he of had it ordered that way? Lee this is the auction that my uncle email you about. I picked up a QK-40, a blued 44Mag, and a stainless .357 as well. I might keep the 44Mag but the rest I intend to sell after getting some more info on the tombstone and quick kit. I have pics up in my subfolders on photobucket. s311.photobucket.com/albums/kk457/stoney667/

It was likely assembed after the move to Tucson then. The ones built in Bisbee and Tombstone definitely started at 100. Or Sig decided to do a custom number. Remember, these guns were semi-custom. The variability between models, years, production sites, etc is staggering. -Lee www.singleactions.com

Boy - wish I'd seen that auction. 11 is a number in which I have great interest and I'd have liked to see the other guns he had with that number. Sounds like you must have cleaned up.

I did ok, I'm hoping to make a few bucks. I wish I had more money I would of bought all 28 guns. I'll probably be putting things up on some more forums and possibly the auction sites. I figured with this website being highly popular with the us arms I would dug up some interest here first.
