Well, as promised. Here is my new Cimarron Pistolero in .38/.357 It is a before and after photo group. I sent the gun to Outlaw Grips of Tucson, AZ for the custom grip and premium action work. Grip is Blood Wood with silver lightning bolt inlaid of my own idea. ;D

Striking color contrast. I really like how it turned out. Have you had a chance to shoot it yet? -Lee www.singleactions.com

Lee, I haven't shot the gun as of yet. It will be here tomorrow and hopefully I'll get a chance this weekend.

Who makes it? Uberti or Pietta? Cimarron has both right now... Is this the model Cabela's has been carrying? Looks like a great value, I've been somewhat confused by the situation.

This model is made by Uberti and I got it ordered straight from Cimarron Firearms. Not sure on the Cabela's question.

That rig looks really sharp. Let us know how she shoots. The lightning bolt looks pretty cool.
I have been looking over the Uberti guns lately. Some of them look really good.

I'm not an expert on single action firearms but, for the type of shooting I do, research on Uberti guns proved that they are a very reliable and well put together gun. With the action work, this gun shoots very smoothly! I took it out and it handles Winchester Silver tip .357 ammo very well. When living on a budget, US Firearms and Colts are just way out of my reality for a while! This one will last for quite a few years, and I take great care of my guns.
