Here are a couple of pieces of walnut that I had ripped to make a matched set of panels for one of my sixguns. Problem is that I don't know which one to put them on! I'm going to get black hardware for them for sure but was actually thinking of putting them on a 10" FA 44 mag that I love shooting. It has the usual FA wood on it now but I prefer micarta or walnut, it just happened to have what it has on it when I bought it. I originally was going to put this on the 41 magnum that I fit the holly to so that one is out. I'm still leaning mainly towards the new 44 special though. I have some stabilized walnut around here also but its not figured this nice if I remember correctly... What you think? Obviously, its not polished or sanded smooth but you can get the idea of the figure I think...
