Specs: Foster Industries: Officer Frame, Full Length Guide rod/ plug Fusion Firearms: Commander .45 Slide/ Barrel/ Bushing, Hammer/Sear/Disconnector Wilson Combat: Grip Safety Smith & Alexander: Mag Guide Carbon Creations: Grips & Grip Screws Ed Brown: Thumb safety, Firing Pin/FP Stop Harrison Design: Trigger (first trigger was a fusion, and it functioned perfectly, but I hated the look and feel) Sights are a Kensight front Tritium and a Heine Straight 8 Rear Tritium CCR Refinishing provided the House Black Cera-Hide on the Carbon Steel Major components & AL alloy Mag guide & bead blasted natural stainless all other components.

I have a couple of Foster Industries builds in the works now. That sure sets the bar high for my completed projects. Thanks for sharing.

I am familiar with Carbon Creations, but your grips look like they're smooth; like there's a layer of epoxy or something over the top of the "checkering." Is this true, or is the lighting messing with my eyes?

it appears to be an acrylic layer or prepreg. it is shapeable and sandable without getting into the substrate.
