Please don't turn this into another argument thread. There is no right or wrong. Pick your poison and spend your money. Write about what yours will and will not do. My personal choice is FAs in both along with 50AEs. My apoligies, I didn't intend to cause an argument. Please forgive me.

The cylinder is a rechambered FA cylinder. Who did the work? Good question. There were Reeder and JRH built guns in the set that this one came from. No hard paper trail to any builder.

Just a quick question,after looking at your pictures. If I can scrape the money together to get a JRH chambered BFR, I will have a legitimate 500?

My money would be on JRH having done the work too...
FWIW I'll be adding a 500JRH BFR to my 50 bore "set" one day.
