I need to replace the rear sight on my fathers Virginian Dragoon. Unfortunately, I can't find a factory original assembly anywhere, including Numrich. I was wondering if anyone knows if the rear sight from any other guns might work?

Millett used to make them. I don't think they're cataloged, but you may want to give them a call. BTW, OM Blackhawk rear blades with fit the Virginian assembly. Sounds like you need the whole sight though. -Lee www.singleactions.com |

What is it with their sights. I have seen more than a couple with missing blades?

Ruger Blackhawk sight will work with a little file to the bottom of the sight.
