In ohio this is enough gun. Pack it in a Slim Jim holster and a few reloads in leather pouch. Nice made working mans reliable SA The Good Bad and ugly!

Give the 38colt a try jeep, you seem to like historical guns, it was an old west saa chambering.

I got a ton of Spec . brass. I could load it down to 38 Colt or trim, it down ,but thats to much work. Back in the day I would trim down 45 colt down to 455 eli length and turn the rim down to 455 ely for my Colt 455 eli and load it with a 250 flat tip. Alot of work ,but 455 was hard to find. 40 years ago.

Jeep That should be a great Packing six-gun. There is nothing wrong with the .357 either. The .38 Special allows cheaper shooting & plenty of accuracy. Good shooting. Frank

I agree when it comes to "Enough Gun for Ohio"...I live up here on the North Coast myself..The place we lived for a few years before buying our own home was on several acres of Woods...Several years back as the Coyotes began re establishing themselves throughout the State there were a few less than pleasant interactions between folks and coyotes..Both of my Boys were much younger and loved playing and mucking around in the Woods behind the house. My 38 Special stuffed in a waistband or a coat pocket was what I carried..I always figured if I could not stop a Dog with my 38 chances are the problem was me not the Gun...Now if the dreaded Ground Squirells I read about ever move in to my area I might need to reconsider..I so wih my folks would have let the Wifey and I buy that house. I so miss bieng able to shot right out the back door..A few miles up the street in the residential area it's not allowed..Sorry if I rambled..Good luck with your new Gun..Lake County here..
