Off topic, but for those of you who have never experienced a true dust storm here is some pics of the one that hit us yesterday. Once it hit it was almost night dark with a brown hue, kinda creepy. Coming in: Looking left: Looking right: Time to go in:

Monsoons 10 drops of rain and 2 pounds of dust... or a gully washer and lightning up here in the north country:-) Man, I hope you can get out of that crowded city asap.

Great pics, having been out in that mess last night my sliver truck looks like a rolling mud pie (it rained for a short time for those not in az).

Great photos Mike, We just had buckets of rain and a light show in Havasu for the last 2 nights with more coming Glad you are O.K.

For almost eleven years I lived in El Centro, California, some sixty miles west of Yuma. I have been in several like that, each time while working outdoors. The first time was the worst as it got really dark at midday and then rained mud and wet sand, which totally coated the vehicle I was driving. What a mess!
