My set continues to grow. The newest is a 6 inch octagon FA 500WE with a 500 JRH cylinder. This picture belongs to the seller, Steven Webb. Since I bought the gun I don't think he'll mind so long as I give him credit.. Then we have Mark's old 4 inch round butt 500WELast is my 4.75 50AE...

Axe you should be ashamed, only 3. looks like you need to get on the phone with John Ross and get a emergency 5" 500S&W headed your way, you also need to get that 50AE off to freedom arms for a 500WE Cylinder. Maybe Reeder will hook you up with a .500GNR or 2 and last but not least you still need some BFR's! Maybe we can get you a note from your FFL guy explaining you have more on order so Lee doesn't ban you! ;D ;D ;D Stan, all funn'n aside, that 500JRH is one nice looking gun.

I passed through my 500 S&W phase a few years back... There were at least 3 in my set. May pick up a 500 S&W BFR in the years to come just to have some chambers to put all that brass in... I've had an itch for a 6 inch octagon 500 bore FA ever since I saw the one that Zeus passed to Ken... Looking forward to playing with the 500JRH and planning to have a new 500WE cylinder fitted. Maybe have it done at the same time I have one made for the 50AE. I've got a 330 and 400 grain RFN molds for my Magma Master Caster and a few size dies for my Star. It is only natural to think that I need more!

you boys interested in the 500 JRH sitting on your FA's in 50 AE oughta holler at me about this model 83 45 colt cylinder I have never stuck in my gun....Jack's rechamber is REAL reasonable. Oh, and my obligatory .500, a .500 JRH by David Clements - grips by Scott Kolar:

Here's my BFR in .500 JRH with a 6.5-inch barrel...... Soon to be sporting a Bisley grip frame and some nice grips. I have a .500 Smith as well, but I'm sure nobody wants to see that! LOL!

Yeah, he's done a number of them and it's a pain in the backside! Haven't decided on the wood yet, but I don't think I'll go Micarta on this one.

Mating that backstrap to the "JT" BFRs is a lot of work, but you're in good hands with Jack. I did one and said never again. -Lee www.singleactions.com

Yes I agree, Ive welded up 2 bisley gripframes to fit the newer BFR's and they are more fun then they should be. you looking to sell your takeoff gripframe and factory grips off of that BFR? O here's one of my BFRs with a Bisley gripframe fitted.

I would probably be willing to part with the grip frame and grips. I haven't sent it in yet and don't know when I will, but I will keep you posted. I have a couple of other projects that are ahead of it. If my pockets were deeper, that wouldn't be the case! ;D
