I put this 44Mag Ruger together from parts I had left over from different guns and some just aquired. I didnt do any welding on the frame it was all done with stock removal. The threads for the ejector were pluged with the screw that belongs there along with some J B Weld epoxy cranked in with some vice grips then cut off and contoured. The 4140 parts just received a quick swipe of cold blue.

This one looks as good as your other one to me! Nothing looks quite as nice as a recessed, unfluted cylinder.
