And you don't feel bad for the rest of us? Congrats! You'll like John's trigger and action job too...

Sorry, didn't mean to delete initial post. Trying to figure out how to get the pic from my home folder to forum.

So... Now you feel bad? You've got to put the picture on one of the hosts like Photobucket and post a link. I use: photobucket.com/

Thanks, Axe. This will be my first custom. Really wanted a .475 or .500 Linebaugh, but figured that a .44 or .45 LC would be more practical. Chose the .44 because I already have a bunch of brass. BTW, I think John really outdid himself on those grips. Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Octagon, walnut, color case.........................3 of my favorite things.
Nice revolver, enjoy it........ hard to tell from the pic, is that an OM or a NM blocked?

That is a beautiful gun. Another example of John's excellent worksmanship.

That OM/NM question is a good one but I can tell you that John Gallagher's action job on a NM made a believer out of me... That OM click click clickety clack is cool in the house but thumb that OM hammer back in a tree stand with that buck of a lifetime coming close and the noise can be deafening!

Should be here Mon. or Tue. and I am very excited. Thanks for all the kind words. Steve, it is a new model with a blocked action. I guess now I will begin saving for one of the really big boomers.

Axe, I Know all about those clicks from a tree stand. (wish I didn't) but i love 'em any way. valley28, I know the waiting sucks, but trust me....it's worth it. I already have an OM 357 at Hartons shop being converted to a 38-40/10mm, I'm starting to think I may need one at John's shop. I would have liked to have been in town when Robb and John were selling those barrels.
