Neat barrel but I am with Axe, it would be nice to know if it was rechamberd to a tight 45 from a smaller cylinder. Also, a chunk of change for non locking basepin, factory engraved cylinder and factory Ruger rear sight. JMHO of course.

For my tastes ... Rechamber and fit one of the maximum cylinders and you would have something!

Like Robb said that is a lot of money for just a barrel and max ejector rod, there might be more there than that but I doubt it...

Just curiosity, but I thought a Clements gun was marked with the little CCG on the frame.

Just curiosity, but I thought a Clements gun was marked with the little CCG on the frame. i use to believe the same, but then i found out first hand the answer is not always. i have a 44mag bisley that was tweaked by clements (his 'basic tuneup' and a few additional tweaks). There are no markings that indicate clements did the work. I know the work was done by clements because i sent him the gun and paid for the work. I also have a 44spcl conversion done by clements and the CCG marking is on the barrel. I bought this gun on the used market. this gun was made quite a few years back i'd have to look at the receipt the orignal owner included in the sale. ~c.r.

I would bet that Clements only marks the ones that are heavily modified by him, aka a true custom.

The "CCG" on the side of the cylinder frame is not universal. I've got a Clements 38 Special Single Six and a 5 Shot 45 colt Bisley that are marked "CCG" on the barrel only.. I'd bet Dave could give you the year that he started it.
