Someone comes in shooting at you and you return fire. Granted, it could have been handled differently, but how can someone judge another for acting in the heat of the moment.

Doesn't that imply premeditated? The only thing premeditated was these punk assed kids coming in to rob the man. Karma is a bitch.

Either way, this man is screwed. Even if the judge reduces the sentence, he's 60 yrs old.........may as well be life.

Well I certainly am not going to defend the bad guy, the first shot to the head was ok,however I would think picking up a second gun 45 seconds later and emptying it into the wounded bad guys abdomen ON VIDEO TAPE is he ran into trouble.

From where I sit it should not have been a murder 1 conviction.

It should have been convictions for perjury and manslaughter.
