After a great conversation with Alex Hamilton at Ten-Ring he checked this one out and boxed it up for me. Quite the gentleman, he is! The B/C gap is between .002 and .003; I know because it will take a .002 but not a .003 feeler gauge. Alex said the cylinder throats and the barrel are right at .452, and that the action needed no work. The CCH hammer does not rub the frame. All in all it is a gorgeous handgun, and I really wanted the 3.5" barrel with extractor. I did polish the bolt surface to a sheen with a small slab of ceramic to polish out the tool marks and reduce cylinder finish wear. Oh - did I need to mention the fantastic fitting!? But the stocks are ugleeeeee..... I've got a solid section of elephant tusk that will go off for a set of one-piece grips after I shoot the crap out if it for awhile. Tomorrow it's gonna get 50 rounds each of 8.0 Unique, 7.2 of W231 and 5.8 of Trail Boss under a 250 Keith lead bullet. For packing around it will be stoked with Speer 250 gr GDHPs; now for a good, high-ride hiking holster! Sorry for the poor photos with my paw prints all over - it's raining up here in the Northwet, but it's gonna be dirtier tomorrow!

Cute!
How far do the cases eject? Please give us a range report. I'm interested in how she does with the various loads. .002-3" is really tight for shooting lead. Curious to know how that works out too. .006-8" is considered normal.

Very, very nice USFA - What a gem! I really like the short barrel with an ejector housing - It just looks more balanced than the Sheriff's models and is functional too. It is especially good to hear that you are going to be carrying it.
Alex Hamilton is a gentleman - He will always answer your questions and is very responsive.
Congratulations! The color case hardening on the frame and hammer is absolutely superb!
What a great addition to the Northwest USFA arsenal.......
