A great holster

I've been hearing what a good holster RobL produces. So when my Wife asked what I wanted for my Birthday I said a Simply Rugged Cuda with inside out straps for my Glock G19.
I know I know it isn't a SA, ;D well it kind of is being a safe action pistol, but anyway I wanted to experience one of Robs holsters. Am I ever glad I asked for one!!!
The quality is tops, the looks are great, it's comfortable (remember Clint Smith said a gun is supposed to be comforting not comfortable), the leather is thick enough that I don't see it wearing out any time soon. I am very happy with it.

I got a couple of Sourdough pancake holsters from Rob a couple of weeks ago....one for a 5 1/2" Bisley and the other for a 6 1/2" N frame .44 spl. I'll be using the Bisley on the hip and will carry the N-frame with the Chesty Puller rig but haven't decided yet whether in the under the arm position or in front of chest. Simply Rugged makes top notch stuff IMO.

The 1911 bug is starting to bite... after all these years!!!....and when the Ruger SR1911 becomes available around here I'll be calling Rob again.
