I have been loading the tiny little .32 acp for a 1903 Colt I recently accquired. I couldn't help but wonder if this semi rimmed case could be chambered in a small single action revolver. Anybody ever heard of such a thing.?

Skeeter wrote of using .32 ACPs in a revolver when that was all he could find.

I think it could probably be done on a Bearcat,BUT would it be worth the cost?

They actually work fine in my .32 H&R Single-Six.

I recall from Mr. Bowen's book that he made a J-frame in .25 ACP - I'd imagine the semi-rimmed .32 ACP would work just as well. It is an inherently accurate cartridge. I've worked on a murder case in which a small break-top .32 was loaded with a mixture of rounds, including .32 ACP. A .32 ACP Bearcat would sure be a neat companion to my .22 Mag Bearcat . . . but I also wonder what dmize brings up.

I will admit that I have long dreamt about a matching pair of Bearcats....one in .32 ACP, and one in .25 ACP...with matching Keith SWC bullet molds....

Some years ago a lawyer buddy of mine acquired one of those Russian Nagant Revolvers. At that time the fellas at Numerich were making a six shot cylinder chambered in .32 ACP to fit the gun. Naturally he had to have one. It was a great purchase, not only did it work good , but the gun was quite accurate as well, if you could get past the 35 pound trigger pull. .32 ACP ammo is not the cheapest stuff in the world, but, it sure was fun to play with in the Russian. I think the revolver was like $65 and the .32 cylinder $30...pretty cheap fun!

Just get an S&W model 30 or 31 (.32 S&W Long) and shoot 32ACP in it till your heart's content. They work just fine.
