And in 6.5x55?? I would send cash NOW if I could! Instead, I'll start a separate savings account and count the days. Hopefully by Spring 2010 we'll see them on dealer's shelves.

Mr. Taffin,
Assume you know what type of single shot action it utilizes? I assume it is based upon the single shot pistol ala TC Contender but a well made falling block style would be darn nice. Inquiring minds want to know...

Ahhh, ahhhh ok a FA single shot rifle. ahhh pic, pics, pics, detail men, details. I'm guessing they're utilizing the action of the handgun.

The stocks for the rifle have not been designed yet, but it will use the same action as the handgun.

No doubt it is well made and will shoot great, but it's a little funky looking for my tastes

That was kind of the gist of the discussions on the old board back then. Mark Hargrove was able to shoot it and was reporting some amazing accuracy at great distances.
But to my eye it is neither fish nor fowl. It looks something like a cross between an MOA Maximum and a 1911. Very Wichita Arms-ish, but with a revolver handle instead of a 1911. I am not trying to flame anyone's ideas or design... I just think it is ... inelegant and from the makers of such a beautiful revolver, rather disappointing.
Heck Even E.A. Browns single shots are better looking.

I have one of E A Brown's single shot in his 6.5 BRM and I must say it doesn't look that bad, and it shoots great
