So is the 458 you described going to be your five shot revolver? Sounds similar to the 458 Devastator.

I have always wanted a .500 Linebaugh Long, and I have a .445 Max. I bought for conversion, but this Herter's cylinder pin is shot, as are the plastic stocks, so I decided to spend the money on making the Herter's into a unique piece with modified stocks and caliber. There are no Herter's cyl. pins available so after this I will no longer have to worry about having a bullet go one way and the pin another while shooting it. RpR

I've never written an article on a 458. Think you mean Lee's on Singleactions

This 458 sounds pretty slick. What length are you cutting the brass back to? Keep us posted as the project progresses. -Lee www.singleactions.com

Mag pistol cartridge although the chamber in a Grizzly semi-auto can be made as long as the magazine will allow. Or, if I find a money tree, I can have two cylinders made. One for longer .458 revolver rounds only.

Put me down for at least one copy of DA Sixguns if it ever materializes.

]Out of curiosity, how long did it take to write your books? A LIFETIME OF EXPERIENCE AND 4-6 MONTHS OF TOO HARD WORK. But now your rich, world famous and have a legion of loyal fans!!! ;D[/quote] 2 out of 3 ain't bad. I doubt JT writes to gain immense monetary wealth. He shares his vast knowledge and passion for firearms in the books he writes. His wealth is his experience that he shares in his writings whether books or magazine articles. If his goal was for vast sums of money, a man of his intelligence would undoubtedly do something else.
