Seem like JT has written that he has paid his deposit. That in itself should be an indicator that there is some credibility. However, we all know how things go bad and belly up even with the best of intentions. We have pointed out the Bren Ten. How about the TLA?

I don't have any reason to suspect a scam and certainly hope they can bring the pistol to market, it just amazes me that their business model is to advertise and take orders for a famously named pistol that they, as yet, have shown no ability to produce, even as a one-off handmade custom piece. That either takes a lot of nerve or people involved who command such respect in the industry that you attribute them the credibility to make good on their claims.
For instance, if Bill Wilson and Doug Turnbull said they were going to team up to produce a new kind of tactical, finely finished Colt 1911, well yeah, I'm sure they could. But if I got on here and said I was going to produce brand new period correct Springfield 1861 muskets, and am currently taking deposits, you'd rightly be dubious.
I just can't figure out who the "names" are in Merwin and Hulbert, but they sure ain't Messrs. Merwin or Hulbert. Perhaps if JT checks in and reads this, he might fill us in.
