That picture says more in the expression on the faces than any I have seen in a long time. It touches me to be so honored to share such a moment. Thank you.

Boge, would you mind some specifics on this gun, and real detailed version of this story, might do well in the book I am trying to compile (see other thread in this section) that is, if you don't mind?

The only way to respond to this challenge is to find and buy more TLAs!

The only way to respond to this challenge is to find and buy more TLAs! Yeah, that is true. However, I have a special project in mind that I think I'm about to embark upon. I got the base gun this past weekend. I have Skeeter's personal gun die stamp. Now all I need to do is a bit more research and find some Dall Sheep horn for grips......I think you all know where I might be going.

A new run of Skeeter Skelton Specials would suit me fine.....!

The blue on that gun looks deep enough to swim in. Does the head of base pin have a second edge for the ejector housing?

The base pin head is dished out for the bottom of the barrel, but it clears the ejector rod housing.

Hey Boge, that gun is simply beautiful and if you don't have time to shoot it or pay the proper amount of attention to it, just give me a call. Depending on the traffic on I-24 thru Nashville, I can probably be in Clarksville in about 2 1/2 or 3 hours. I'll be happy to do my part. Bill

I don't think I could own something that perfect. I'd lay awake nights afraid that something would happen to it.
I hope someday to give gifts that mean that much to the friends that mean so much to me.
