I was out doing some shooting with a friend. sighting in a new to me R-77 International in 308. My dad pulled up jumps out of his truck and handed me a bag with a gun rug in it. Along with a birthday card and some ammo Inside the gun rug was this: I'm not a big fan of ports or rubber grips but this 45 Colt Snubby does just fine with them.

Nice dad! Always wanted to see what they were like. Just love the idea of a snubby 45. Got any idea about what load your going to use?

Good lookin pistol. How do you like that 77RSI? I have one in .308 that is my favorite hunting rifle. Short, handy and powerful.

Loads I have some 250 HPs to load up but initially some 200 JHP factory stuff I have laying around. My 77RSI- I think will become my favorite rifle. I put a new 2-7 VX/R 30mm tube on it it's light and handy and easy to hit with. We were blasting foot ball sized rocks with it and a friend's G-3 at various distances. It is a natural pointer for me.
