Be it a silly question. How common were fluted cylinders on the maximum guns? I don't search for these as much as some. But I don't remember seeing many with a fluted cylinder?

Unfluted is more common on stretch frame Sevilles, but many were fluted. In fact, almost half of my 7.5" 357 Max Sevilles have flutes. Lee www.singleactions.com

that's interesting. I actually really liked the flutes on this one. It didn't look just like all the others I had seen. I guess you can "add" flutes to any of them good looking gun but a little high to me

You can add flutes, but it would have to be annealed first. Seville cylinders Rockwell around 40. -Lee www.singleactions.com
