looks pretty cool, but how does one go about turning the brushes all at once? Is there some kind of a ratchet in the handle?

I've never been in that big a hurry.

I bought one from Brownell's some time back it did not have a Ruger label on it. Its very awkward to use I went back to cleaning the cylinders one at a time.

You push it in and out like a regular brush it does not turn. I find it very clumsy.

Oh, my prefferred method for cleaning cylinders has been one chamber at a time with a bore brush with a patch wrapped around it and soaked in solvent, then twirl till clean

Nobearsyet you got me thinking which I try to do as little of as possible.
I clean my guns in a vice cylinders removed. I use a synthetic bore brush wrapped in the finest (0000 whatever)bronze wool.
Why not spin it in the cylinders?
I attached a cordless electric drill to the bore brush wrapped in bronze wool and it quickly cleans the cylinders!

yeah, it works great, but Iprefer the bore brush as there's less chance of slightly honing the cylinders a little oversize

Now I know I can hear the gears spinning in you boy's heads just like the gears in a zebco spinning reel.... One center gear with a crank handle attached with five or six geared hubs threaded for a bore brush circling around it...

You know Axe, that might work, but you really need to spin the brush by hand when you do it my way or you run the risk of honing your cylinder
