The "greater fool" theory is alive and well, and operates regularly on Ebay. My favoites are those that try and sell current manuals and/or the items readily available at ShopRuger.com. Often it's the clearance items they obviously by and post on eBay for 2x the cost. I'll occasionally ask if there's a difference between the one they have and those for sale directly from Ruger at 1/2 the price or in the case of the manulas, for free? ;D Have gotten some interesting replies. Fortunately those that swear off eBay allow others to reap the benefits. I've gotten some very good deals this past year.  |
