Took this in trade on my Huntington .480 Vaquero. I should sell it, but it's EXACTLY like i would have ordered it! (it's a sickness) A set of Hogue Ivory Micartas here that have been looking for a home slid right on. No warning on Barrel. Steel ERH. Steel XR3-RED. SBH hammer. SBH cylinder rechambered to min spec .45 Colt. Early pics deleted, scroll down.

It must be a epidemic! I've got a 4 5/8 NM 45 Colt with a SBH grip frame and a SBH cylinder sitting in the safe ready to be virtually the same thing...

How do you like the thickness of the grips? Some folks don't like Hogue because they're wide, but they fit my hand just fine. I find recoil to be less "felt" with that profile. -Lee www.singleactions.com

Gonna shoot it first, but thinking the grips need to be slimmed at the top a little bit. Had a set of hogue polymers on a bisley and thinned them out a a little and it really worked well.

Nice looking rig you ended up with. John does a good job. I like the 45 he built me. It's built for a OM 44 FT. By the way, did you get enough sold to buy that gal of yours a ring. Bill
