Don't know what he will and won't do. Send him an email if you don't want to post on his web site. He is very good at supplying answers to qestions. Just hanging out there before Christmas I read a post that looked like he made FA grips. Posted the question and got a quick answer. I had just traded for a rubber gripped FA that needed help.. The new (to me)Bowen Nimrod traveled to Arizona with the FA for ivory micarta. Check out his price list on his web site. He offers all kinds of materials too... AND... While I hated to ship them, I was pleased that he asked for the entire gun for fitting.

Dang!.... That ivory fits the FA nice and looks good! Here I sit with ivory tastes and a micarta budget!

I have some in wood and Micarta and no ones fits them better IMHO. I'll have more of my guns with the GF frame mod.

Posted the "one piece" grips question on Gary's Board.. He says that they don't work on SAA type stuff and adds that this rules out one piece grip stuff.. Yeah we could point out the TLAs and custom #5 grip frames that are two piece but that point is moot. Bottom line: He doesn't do one piece grips. Now we wait for my Nimrod and FA 83 to return with ivory micarta.

My 4.75 inch .500L Ultimate Backup has the round butt that Gary provides. I have a 4 inch 500WE FA with the FA round butt option... I like the round butt feel in these short barrel beasts but I think I'll stick with the full grip frame with the longer barreled guns. Ouch! Just looked at my 7.5 inch Reeder 500L. It is round butted too! Curse you 2 dawgs!

We NEED to find a good source for FA grips. Some of our favorite grip makers don't do FA grips. A good deal on a field grade FA can be quickly soured with the cost of aftermarket grips.. If my 353 comes back with anything close to what I've seen on other Reeder guns we will not be passing on good deals on field grade because of rubber grips..
