The P35 has always been one of my favorites. It feels better than any other double stack 9 to me. Not a huge fan of the 9mm but in the BHP I like it (better than the 40). I recently picked up several of the alloy frame guns from AIM. Previously rare, the European trade in's have been imported in growing numbers over the last few years. I sent one to Don Williams for his tactical package. Decided to work one over myself to see what I could do. So far I have about 5 hours work and $75 plus the cost of the gun. Fitting the safety took longer than cutting the sights. You need 3 hands to reassemble the dam things. May send the lower to Mahovsky and 2 tone it. It is cosmetically challenged at the time but here is what it looks like so far. Should have it finished in a week or two. Going to start on a beavertail steel frame when this one is finished.

Only four alloy's. They had 6 when I called and I said I will take them. By the time she got my order processed they were down to 4. I kept 2 and 2 went into inventory. They all have pretty good actions but are typical police/military contract guns. Looks like an enamel finish.

I am going to take this one to the range then do a front/backstrap treatment. Not sure what finish I am going to do. May do a KG or Duracoat.

The High Power fits my hand as well as any gun in existance. The work you did looks like a vast improvement. Let us know how it shoots.
