You guys who aren't on the Ruger Forum are missing good stuff in their classifieds. Just snagged this 9 inch 353 over there. Came with silhouette sights and T'SOB scope base. Dang thing looks like a new gun. Feels like it has had the FA action job too... The scope will come off to be replaced with the silhouette sights as soon as I do a little testing. New grips will come after the Christmas rush..   |

Anyway:
As to the set..........if you run out of calibers.....there is Premier and Field, barrel length, left or right handed....
You got your reality, I got mine....
That is a nice score. Scopes are nice for long range. But a gun like that can humble you quick, it will be SO consistant.
When shooting the big guns, a magizine thru the HS Victor would tell you when "recoilcringe" (flinch is too light a word) set in and it was time to go for pie............

I think every FA owner has his own personal definition of the "set." It has actually been a couple of years since my "Set" gathered on the staircase to the basement... There have been additions and there will be more! ;D  |

22, 32, 357, 41, 44, 454, 50AE, 500WE... 4 to 10 inch, Mix of Premier and Field grade and 97 and 83... I NEED a 41 Mag Silhouette to go with my 22, 32, 327 and 44. NEED more short barrel FAs too... And Octagons! ;D

"Need" is similar to the term "set" What it is and isn't depends on the individual... I obviously have some sort of void in my life that only quality single actions can fill...
