Stuck a chamber reamer in the chamber of my 10mm DW CBOB.. Minimum SAAMI spec reamer won't go. Explains a lot. Need to take the barrel, reamer, T handle, and a little cutting oil to the shop...

They feed good from the magazine, under the extractor, and most of the way into the chamber.... Just can't jam them all the way in.

Chamber clean up was very quick and easy. Only took a $65 reamer to fix it.. Considering what I paid for the CBOB and the current price of a DW.... Money well spent..

Axe, the bubba fix would have been to just shoot 40s&w in it till it got enough wear in it to chamber them hotter 10mm’s. ;D while I’m thinkin on it how bout sendin that chamber reamer to me so I can bubba fix on my glock 22 so I can shoot them hotter 10mm’s in it.

Interesting,I have a .45ACP Bobtail that had same problem.Would not chamber anything but Golden Sabre.Bumped chamber with a reamer and adjusted extractor tension.Super gun with great parts, but a specs. a little on the tight side.

I've seen it with custom chambered bullseye 45s. I traded for a Forest Davis built wadcutter gun 30+ years ago that was just to finicky. Got the All NG armorer to check it out. He ran a finish reamer into the chamber and all was well. Posted in the DW thread on the 1911 forum and didn't get any quick confessions. I'm betting that DW got some under spec reamers at some point it time that were quickly replaced. I'd have sent my CBOB home to be fixed but a finish reamer cost about what it would cost to return it and I get to keep the reamer. ;D
