Yep, I noticed the stainless Colt SAA's on Davidson's site a couple weeks ago. Pretty cool, if it and the New Frontier are as good as the late model SAA's, we should be in for a treat.

I just saw a Colt Frontier 4 3/4" barrel, Flattop (thick top strap like a black hawk), with adj. sights like a blackhawk, in 44 special , like new with box. Its going to be in a estate gun auction just before christmas. IIRC it starts at $600. Should I bid on it?

Should I bid on it? 1) IF YOU HAVE TO ASK YOU DON'T DESERVE IT. 2) COLT NEVER MADE A 4-3/4" .44 SPECIAL NF SO IT IS NOT ORIGINAL.

I got my New Frontier .44 Special for $750 a few years back, doubt the new ones will be that cheap. One of those rare times when a bargain and a full wallet happen at the same time! It's a shooter with cast bullets that fit the cylinder mouths (.432).

Great News John! I love this model......and others must too!! I shoot it mainly with cast bullets and black powder - the accuracy is incredible and the fun is even better! J.D. Press

;D God DOES answer prayer, I never thought I'd see another NEW New Frontier, I was hoping USFA would bring one out, my only fear now is the price, it could be a toss up among the Colt, a Freedom Arms or a Merwin Hulbert, I'm afraid the price could be scary on the Colt.

I haven't yet fallen under the "Colt Mystique". Doubt if I will. I'm a pretty is, as pretty does, kinda guy. They have raised prices along with everyone else, but offered nothing new, making the bulk of their money off 3 tired old designs. There are better designs available in all three classes. Don't expect this opinion to be popular. Its your money. Oh, the designs ? S.A., 1911, and M-16 types. As I said, this won't be a popular opinion. If I hit the lotto, would buy some to have pcs of history. steve b

I don't like Garth Brooks or the Beatles either. They did hit their markets just right, and made the most of it though. steve b
