It would take a lot of people's .02 to break even on that!

I couldn't agree more. To me "glock" is a 4 letter word.

Had one in my paws about 15yrs ago. Not only was it ugly as sin, heavier than a Volkswagen and almost as expensive, it wouldn't carry up.

I wouldn't call them ugly. It basically has single action lines. It's just overgrown and not proportionately good looking.

Ya, but...shooting a 405gr trapdoor load in that gun is the equivelent of shooting a 38 spl in an N frame S&W. The cylinder alone weighs nearly 2.5 lbs.

Looks like it should be in a hip hop video.
Glock is a 4-letter word for me as well...

It's just overgrown and not proportionately good looking. LIKE ME!!! ;D ;D ;D Seriously, I've handled those several times, but never fired one (and don't plan to). They are monstrosities, but I guess that's in the eye of the beholder. Something keeps them hanging on.

It looks like it has a crossbolt safety. It would be just like shooting the Marlin.

In the pictures there is a final inspection sheet showing check barrel cylinder gap .002"-.013",while .002" is really tight, I would be upset spending 1200+ dollars on a gun with a .013" barrel to cylinder gap. I used to want one of the older ones made that they called the "mother load" chambered in 50-90, but with quality control set this low and now that I can get a much lighter/better built BFR chambered in 500SW or 45-70, well lets just say I wont be ordering one of these big heavy mothers.
