Most of the bigger classes go 180 mph. The world record offshore boat was there this weekend and has clocked 207. And we're not talking running on lakes and smooth water. This is all offshore and rough. These guys face a lot of wind and chop....and yes, they do wreck. In fact, two flipped on Sunday. -Lee www.singleactions.com

I've done 90 mph in a 32 foot boat and that was faster than I cared for on water. It no longer felt like water at that point. But it sure is fun to watch someone else doing it. Looks like you had alot of fun.

Used to watch Betty Cook off Long Beach years ago.
One for throttle, one to steer, and one to navigate, IIRC. Tape your ribs if you please.
