I have two full blue USFA's, or technically, one early USPFA and one year-old USFA 12/22. IMHO, the late model gun is much better fit and finished and is also much better on the inside. Although the early .45 is much better than any Italian replica and was certainly worth the $420 I paid for it, with two C.O.W.S. leather rigs. That 45 is sure one fine looking gun. Is the trigger CCH on the 45 or is it just the lighting?

Thanks! I had Clements case color both the hammer and trigger, after-the-fact. Did my New Frontier as well.

ronegg: That is a fine looking sixgun. Does it shoot well and, how does it compare to the Uberti and current USFA SAA replicas? Thanks. It shot just left of POA when I got it. I had the right side of the rear sight widened slightly, a touch of cold blue and it is right on now. It is a Turnbull CCH and that old Colt deep blue. It is the only USFA type I have so can't compare it with the new ones. I do have a Hartford Uberti 45 that also is a good shooter, but the insides are rougher and of course there is no comparison with its CCH.
