Just finished this set today and I thought this was a real pretty picture.

The photo and the grips are book worthy. I'd send that one to Mr Taffin. If I remember correctly, he's working on a book covering 45s. -Lee www.singleactions.com

How do you know that's a .45 and not a .357? Cylinder length/barrel protrusion? Beautiful grips. And Cary, thanks for the pic idea, I have my great grandfather's crosscut saw and I had never thought about it as a pic backdrop.

I don't know if it is a 45.....I just guessed. I could be a 44-40. The cylinder does look a little too long to be a 357. -Lee www.singleactions.com

....THE GRIP FRAME IS JUST LIKE A SUPER BLACKHAWK..... Then your Sevilles are different than my Seville...cuz mine is close, but no ceegar. The grip angle is slightly different, not to mention the beveled slot at the front of the grip frame is on the bottom on Sevilles & on the top with the Rugers.

The grain looks almost iridescent, very beautiful.

Short of the bevel cut, there are slight differences between a Super Blackhawk and a Seville gripframe. Pachmyrs work fine between the two, but wood panels are off by a 1/16" or so in certain spots. -Lee www.singleactions.com
