You guys already know I'm a Gun-Nut, but I also have a taste for other types of steel as well. I knew I needed a companion Knife for the 1972 Blackhawk David Clements is currently building for me and as soon as I found Nick Allen on Blade Forums, I had to have a knife made by him. I used one of his patterns "Sierra Scout" to draw up a knife 10" overall with a 4.5" blade using a tracing of my hand for the handle dimensions. I asked Brian Neeley of Klamath River Woodworks to send Nick and David some Manzanita Burl for the revolver and the knife. Well the knife was finished today and David is currently working on my revolver, so the set will soon be together!!! The waiting is killing me, but I'll live and it will be well worth it when they arrive here at home. Here's a link to the thread Nick posted up today with a few pictures of the knife... www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=787004Nick's been around doing this part-time for a while, but he'll be going full-time pretty soon (if not already) and I think his back-log will be as long as David's once people discover his talents!!! He'll build you one of his knives or you can send him a drawing of what you want and he'll build it for you. I'm already thinking about getting in line for another one!!! Thanks for looking...I'm pretty jazzed about this combo!!! ;D Stump

Ahhh, your taste in blades is great. Blades are my first love, given to me by my maternal grandfather. He was born in Sparta, Greece. I have a couple of circle UMC knives from him, amongst others. When I leave the house, am wearing a 5" Cold Steel Voyager. I do not consider it back up to my firearm. steve b
